I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne [Yahweh God] a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals.
And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?” [A rhetorical question; no one but Yeshua, the Lamb of God]
, 4 And no one in heaven [not even holy, sinless angels] or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it. Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it;
and one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”
And I saw between the throne (with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb [previously just described as a “lion”, Yeshua God] standing, as if slain [because He had been, on the cross], having seven horns [complete authority & power, omnipotence] and seven eyes [omniscience], which are the seven Spirits of God [the Spirit of the Lord, of wisdom, of understanding, of counsel, of strength, of knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord, Isa 11:2], sent out into all the earth [omnipresence; all 3 together are the mark of divinity].
I’m currently working my way backwards thru Revelation; Chapters 6-13 are complete. Please visit those pages.
